1.2 Camera and Image Data

Our "Snap & Solve" feature requires camera access on your device. When you use this feature:

Images are captured and transmitted securely to our servers for AI-powered analysis
Images are processed via OpenAI's API to generate Socratic walkthrough responses
Captured images are temporarily stored for processing and deleted within 24 hours
We do not store or retain your photos beyond what is necessary for problem-solving

1.3 Audio and Voice Data

Our Vocal Socratic Coach feature may access your microphone and audio recording capabilities:

Voice recordings are captured when you actively engage the voice coaching feature
Audio data is transmitted securely to our servers and processed via OpenAI's Whisper/TTS API
Voice recordings are used solely for real-time tutoring and are not stored permanently
Audio data is processed in memory and discarded after generating a response

1.4 Learning and Performance Data

Quiz and practice test responses
Score metrics and progress data
Adaptive difficulty level history
Session duration and frequency
Feature usage patterns

1.5 Device and Technical Data

Device type, operating system, and browser information

3. Third-Party Data Processing

3.1 OpenAI

We use OpenAI's API services to power our AI tutoring engine. Data sent to OpenAI includes text prompts, image data (for Snap & Solve), and audio data (for Voice Coach). OpenAI processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy and API data usage policies. OpenAI does not use API data to train their models.

3.2 Firebase (Google)

We use Google Firebase for authentication, real-time database, and analytics. Firebase processes authentication tokens, user identifiers, and basic analytics data. See Firebase Privacy.

3.3 Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your complete credit card information on our servers. Stripe processes payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. See Stripe Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security
